mysanaa
Sanaa is Swahili for art. The invitation is the first piece of art at any gathering.
Why we started
Our founders spent years watching aunties chase RSVPs by phone, planners reconcile three spreadsheets the night before a wedding, and beautiful printed cards arrive after the guests had already asked for directions on WhatsApp.
mysanaa brings the two together. Today, one design goes out by email or as a private link you share yourself, and every reply lands in one list the host can trust. WhatsApp and SMS sending, printed cards from partner presses, group outfits, gifts and travel for guests flying in from abroad are coming soon.
The name belongs to no single tribe or country. It carries a word for art, and the idea that an invitation should feel made by hand even when it arrives on a phone.
Printed by hand, a few streets away
When printed cards open, every order will go to a partner press close to you, with a backup press on call, so a busy December never costs you your date.
What we hold to
Made with care
Every template is drawn by a person and checked on a real phone and a real sheet of card.
Every guest counts
An invitation should reach the grandmother without WhatsApp as surely as the cousin in Houston.
Plain and honest
Free for invited hosts during early access, and clear prices per event after. Guests never pay to reply, and we never sell their details.
Close to our hosts
We print close to our hosts, pay our partners on time, and build for the connections people actually have.
Every culture, properly named
Naming ceremonies, traditional weddings, milestone birthdays. We use the words hosts use and design for how each ceremony really runs.
Calm on the day
Updates and support that keep working when the hall is full and the network is slow.
Early access: sending is open to invited hosts. Ask us for access.
